Grant Goodeve is an American actor and television host, born on July 6, 1952, in Middlebury, Connecticut. He gained recognition for his portrayal of David Bradford, the eldest son, on ABC television's Eight Is Enough from 1977 to 1981. Goodeve also sang the theme song for the show. In addition to his work on Eight Is Enough, he has appeared on various television shows like The Love Boat, T. J. Hooker, Dynasty, and Fantasy Island. Goodeve has also lent his voice to video games such as Team Fortress 2 and Star Fox: Assault. He began his acting career with a role on an episode of Emergency! in 1977 and has since established himself as a versatile actor in the industry.
