Greg Giraldo Biography
Gregory Carlos Giraldo (December 10, 1965 – September 29, 2010) was an American stand-up comedian, television personality, and lawyer. He is best known for his appearances on Comedy Central's televised roast specials, as well as hosting the programming block Stand-Up Nation. Giraldo also appeared on Comedy Central shows Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and Lewis Black's Root of All Evil. Born in the Bronx and raised in Bayside, Queens, Giraldo was the oldest of three children. He was a talented musician, playing the guitar in a band during his youth. Giraldo excelled academically, attending Regis High School and later earning a bachelor's degree in English from Columbia University.
