Greg Hicks Biography
Greg Hicks is an English actor known for his extensive work in theatre. He completed his theatrical training at Rose Bruford College and joined The Royal Shakespeare Company in 1976. Hicks received critical acclaim for his performance in Coriolanus at the Old Vic, earning a nomination for a 2004 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actor and winning the 2003 Critics' Circle Theatre Award for Best Shakespearian Performance. Apart from acting, Hicks has also practiced capoeira, a Brazilian martial arts and dance form, as well as butoh, a Japanese dance-theatre form. In 2016, he toured with Flute Theatre as Claudius in a unique interactive production of Hamlet titled Hamlet, who's there?.
