Greg Hollimon Biography
Greg Hollimon (born May 2, 1956) is an American actor best known for his work on Comedy Central's Strangers with Candy. Hollimon grew up in the Chicago housing projects of Cabrini–Green. In 1986, he began taking improvisation classes at The Players Workshop and later met Paul Dinello and Amy Sedaris. Hollimon then pursued stand-up comedy and writing while honing his improvisational skills. He graduated from The Players Workshop in 1988 and joined Chicago's The Second City, where he met Stephen Colbert. Hollimon, Sedaris, Dinello, and Colbert later formed a touring group, performing improvisational theatre at colleges and universities. Hollimon has also written and performed in various plays.
