Greg Proops Biography
Greg Proops is an American actor, stand-up comedian, and television host. He gained recognition for his guest appearances on the U.K. and U.S. versions of Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Proops was born on October 3, 1959, in Phoenix, Arizona, and grew up in San Carlos, California. He attended San Carlos High School and the College of San Mateo. Proops started his comedy career as part of the duo 'Proops & Brakeman' and later joined an improv group with Mike McShane. He impressed the producers of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and became a regular on the show. Proops has also provided the voice for the titular character in the U.S. version of Bob the Builder: Project: Build It from series 10 to 14.
