    Gregg Marx Biography
    Gregg Marx (born April 3, 1955) is an American actor best known for his work on daytime soap operas. He gained recognition for his role as David Banning on Days of Our Lives from 1981 to 1983. Marx then portrayed Tom Hughes on As the World Turns from 1984 to 1987, winning the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 1987. In addition to his television work, Marx has also showcased his talents as a cabaret performer, entertaining audiences at various venues in Los Angeles and New York. He even lent his voice to a fictional commercial on an episode of Two and a Half Men in 2007. Marx is the grandson of Gummo Marx from the legendary Marx Brothers.
