Gregory Alan Williams Biography
Gregory Alan Williams (born June 12, 1956), also known as Gregalan Williams, is an American actor and author. He gained recognition for his portrayal of LAPD Officer Garner Ellerbee in the popular TV show Baywatch. Williams went on to play Coach Pat Purnell in the USA Network series Necessary Roughness from 2011 to 2013. He has also appeared in various other TV shows including ABC's Secrets and Lies (2015), Greenleaf, Manhunt: Unabomber (2017), and The Righteous Gemstones (2019). Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Williams attended East High School before serving in the United States Marine Corps. He made his acting debut in the 1988 film Above the Law alongside Steven Seagal.
