Gregory Jbara (born September 28, 1961) is an American actor, singer, and stage performer. He is best known for his role as DCPI Garrett Moore in the television series Blue Bloods (2010-2023). Jbara gained recognition and won a Tony Award© for his portrayal of Jackie Elliot in the musical Billy Elliot (2009). Born in Nankin Township (now Westland), Michigan, Jbara is of Lebanese and Irish descent. He graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne, Michigan, and attended the University of Michigan, majoring in Communication Studies. Later, he enrolled at the Juilliard School's drama division, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Jbara's brothers also have careers in the entertainment industry.
