Guaynaa, born Jean Carlos Santiago Pérez on September 16, 1992, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. He gained recognition with his song "Rebota", which debuted on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart in April 2019. Prior to his music career, Guaynaa worked as a phone salesman in a mall and had plans of becoming a petrochemical engineer. He is signed to Universal Music Latino, an American music label. Guaynaa was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, to a Cuban mother and Puerto Rican father. In December 2020, he began a relationship with Venezuelan-American actress, singer, YouTuber, and author Lele Pons, whom he married in March 2023.
