Gwilym Lee Biography
Gwilym Lee is a British actor, born on 24 November 1983 in Bristol. He is known for his roles in various TV shows and movies, including Jamestown, Midsomer Murders, Top End Wedding, The Great, and his portrayal of guitarist Brian May in the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. Lee grew up in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, but strongly identifies with his Welsh heritage. He studied English literature at Cardiff University and later attended Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he was awarded the Guildhall Gold Medal in 2008. Lee's acting career began with a drama group as a teenager and he went on to star in the television adaptation of Animal Ark books. He has also worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and appeared in shows like Land Girls, Ashes to Ashes, Fresh Meat, and Monroe.
