    Hainsley Lloyd Bennett (born 31 May 1980) is an English actor known for his role in the Epix series Pennyworth (2019–2021). Born in Hammersmith, West London, to Caribbean parents, Bennett grew up in Wembley, North West London. He attended Hammersmith College and later trained at the Questors Theatre. Bennett made his television debut with a small role in the BBC One medical soap opera Casualty in 2008 and his feature film debut in London Boulevard in 2010. He has also played the titular roles in stage productions such as Othello at the Drayton Arms and Evan Smith in the web series Kingdom of Evan. Bennett has received critical acclaim for his performance in the short film White Awake and has had a recurring role in the BBC One soap opera EastEnders.
