Hal Harvey Fieberling, known professionally as Hal Baylor, was an American actor. He was born on December 10, 1918, in San Antonio, Texas. Baylor served in the US Marine Corps during World War II on Saipan and Tinian. After the war, he pursued a career in professional boxing with a record of 52-5 as an amateur and 16-8-3 as a professional. Baylor then transitioned into acting, starting with boxing films under the name Hal Fiberling. He appeared in movies such as Joe Palooka in Winner Take All (1948) and The Set-Up (1949). In addition to his film work, Baylor also had TV appearances, including the role of 'Dolph Timble' in Gunsmoke. He died in Los Angeles in 1998.
