Hannah Devlin

Hannah Devlin is a London-based author and science correspondent for The Guardian. She attended St Bede's College, Manchester, where she studied A-Levels in Maths, Physics, French, and General Studies. Devlin completed her undergraduate degree in physics at Imperial College London in 2004 and holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in functional magnetic resonance imaging from the University of Oxford. She began her career as a journalist while pursuing her postgraduate studies and worked for Research Fortnight before joining The Times in 2009. In 2015, she was appointed to The Guardian as a science correspondent, where she also hosts the podcast Science Weekly. Devlin has contributed to the journal Science and was a finalist for the Young Science Writers award.
