Hans Matheson

Hans Matheson (born August 7, 1975) is a Scottish actor and musician. He has had a diverse career in film and television, taking on lead roles in notable projects such as Doctor Zhivago, Sherlock Holmes, The Tudors, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Clash of the Titans, and 300: Rise of an Empire. Matheson is also a talented musician, skilled in playing the guitar, violin, and harmonica. In 2019, he released an album featuring his own songs. Born in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Scotland, Matheson later moved to Kent and attended the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. He made his screen debut in an episode of The Bill in 1995.
