Hansford Rowe Biography
Hansford Herndon Rowe Jr. (May 12, 1924 – September 5, 2017) was an American film, stage, and television actor. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Rowe had a diverse career in the entertainment industry. After graduating from John Marshall High School, he served in the US Navy during World War II before earning a degree in Theater Arts from the University of Richmond. Rowe's television career began with a role in the 1967 TV movie The Thanksgiving Visitor and continued with appearances in popular shows such as Dark Shadows and The Guiding Light. He is best known for his role as Arthur Dupres in the 1983 miniseries V and its sequel V: The Final Battle.
