Harris Allan (born February 11, 1985) is a Canadian actor, singer, musician, and songwriter. He gained prominence for his role as James (Hunter) Montgomery on Showtime's series Queer as Folk, which ran from 2003 to 2005. Allan started his acting career at the age of 12 with a guest appearance on The New Addams Family. He has also appeared in television shows such as Smallville, The 4400, Masters of Horror, Supernatural, and A Million Little Things. In addition to acting, Allan is a talented singer, songwriter, and recording artist. He began his music career as the lead guitarist for the band Square9, which released a self-titled EP in 2005.
