    Harris Lee Wittels (April 20, 1984 – February 19, 2015) was an American comedian and writer. He is known for his work as a writer for The Sarah Silverman Program and Parks and Recreation, and as a recurring guest on Comedy Bang! Bang! Wittels coined the word 'humblebrag' in 2010. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was raised in Houston, Texas, in the Jewish faith. Wittels attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston and graduated from Emerson College in 2006. He began his career in Los Angeles performing stand-up comedy before meeting Sarah Silverman and joining her show's writing team.
