Harrison Young

Harrison Richard Young (March 13, 1930 – July 3, 2005) was an American character actor known for his role as the elderly Ryan in Steven Spielberg's war epic Saving Private Ryan (1998). With over 100 film and television credits, Young's work spanned a variety of genres. Some of his notable appearances include Down Home (1991), Reasonable Doubts (1991), Waxwork II: Lost in Time (1992), Guncrazy (1992), ER (1995), and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He also appeared in Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses. Harrison Young's career showcased his versatility as an actor and his contributions to the entertainment industry.
