Harry Danner is an American operatic tenor and actor known for his performances on stage, screen, and film. Raised in Springfield Township, Pennsylvania, he attended George School and Dickinson College. Danner is the brother of actress Blythe Danner and violin maker William Moennig, and the uncle of actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Katherine Moennig. He is married to opera director Dorothy Danner and has a daughter named Hillary Danner. Danner's career as an opera singer began in 1970, with notable performances as Rodolfo in La bohème at the New York City Opera and the Lake George Opera. In 1971, he made his debut at the San Francisco Opera as the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto.
