Haruka Kuroda Biography
Haruka Kuroda is a Japanese actress and presenter known for her work as the voice of Noodle in the alternative rock virtual band Gorillaz from 2000 to 2017. She provided Noodle's speaking voice, backing vocals, and played the second guitar during the Phase One tour dates. Kuroda is also the speaking voice of Noodle in Gorillaz' promotional interview CD, 'The Apex Tapes', as well as live radio interviews and 'G-Bites' short films from Phase 1. In addition to her work with Gorillaz, she has sung with JC Connington's rock group JUNKSTAR and appeared in various BBC productions, including Jonny Vegas's Ideal series, Jonathan Creek, Hiroshima, and Brain-Jitsu. Kuroda has also appeared in films such as Foster, Swinging with the Finkels, I Like London In the Rain, and One Minute Past Midnight, which won the short film of the year award at the Cannes Film Festival.
