Hayley McElhinney

Hayley McElhinney is an Australian stage, film, and television actress, born on September 12, 1974. She graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 1999 and has since performed extensively in Australia and the United States. McElhinney has worked with notable theater companies such as the Melbourne Theatre Company, Black Swan Theatre Company, Perth Theatre Company, and Sydney Theatre Company. She received a Helpmann Award nomination in 2007 and was a core member of the Sydney Theatre Company's Actor's Company ensemble from 2006 to 2008. One of her notable roles includes playing Sonya in the Sydney Theatre Company production of Uncle Vanya, which received critical acclaim during its runs in Sydney, Washington, D.C., and Manhattan. McElhinney is also known as the sister of fellow actress Mandy McElhinney.
