Hayley Mills

Hayley Catherine Rose Vivien Mills (born 18 April 1946) is an English actress. She began her acting career as a child and gained recognition for her performances in the British crime drama film Tiger Bay (1959) and Disney's Pollyanna (1960), for which she received several awards including the BAFTA Award for Most Promising Newcomer and the Academy Juvenile Award. Mills appeared in six films for Walt Disney, most notably in her dual role as twins Susan and Sharon in The Parent Trap (1961). Her performance in Whistle Down the Wind (1961) earned her a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best British Actress. Mills was a prominent star in the 1960s and remains a celebrated figure in British cinema.
