Heidi Swedberg (born 1967) is an American actress and musician. She is best known for her role as Susan Ross, the fiancée of George Costanza, on the television sitcom Seinfeld. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in New Mexico, Swedberg attended Sandia High School in Albuquerque. Afterward, she moved to Kentucky and spent a year at the Actors Theatre of Louisville. Swedberg's film credits include In Country (1989), Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael, Kindergarten Cop (both 1990), Too Much Sun, and Hot Shots! (both 1991). She has also appeared in guest roles on various TV series, including Matlock, Thirtysomething, Quantum Leap, Brooklyn Bridge, Northern Exposure, Sisters, Roc, and Touched by an Angel.
