Helen Griffin
Helen Griffin (1958 – 29 June 2018) was a Welsh actress, playwright, and screenwriter. Born in Swansea, Wales, she began her career as a psychiatric nurse before transitioning to acting in 1986. Griffin appeared in numerous plays, television programs, and films, both in Wales and throughout the United Kingdom. Notable TV appearances include Satellite City, Wycliffe, Holby City, Doctor Who, Gavin & Stacey, Coronation Street, and Getting On. She also had roles in films such as Twin Town, Solomon a Gaenor, Human Traffic, The Machine, and Under Milk Wood. Griffin wrote and starred in the 2005 film Little White Lies and performed a one-woman show called Caitlin, based on the life of Dylan Thomas' wife, Caitlin Macnamara. She passed away in 2018.
