Helen Hong (헬렌 홍; born July 7, 1985) is an American stand-up comedian, actress, director, and producer. She has appeared in popular TV shows such as Jane the Virgin, Parks and Recreation, and the Coen Brothers' Inside Llewyn Davis. Hong is a regular contributor on NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! and also hosts the trivia podcast Go Fact Yourself. In addition, she previously hosted the podcast Little Ethnic Girls. With a recurring role on Nickelodeon's The Thundermans and Starz's Blunt Talk, Hong has showcased her versatile acting skills. Known for her comedic NowThis videos, Hong brings laughter to audiences worldwide. Born to Korean immigrant parents, she grew up on the East Coast, attending Tottenville High School in Staten Island, New York, and North Andover High School in Massachusetts.
