Helen Monks

Helen Monks is an English writer, actress, and comedian. Born on October 2, 1992, in Birmingham, she was raised in a theatre-loving family, with both her parents working in the industry. Monks began her acting journey at the age of nine when she successfully auditioned for the Carlton Junior TV Workshop. She is best known for her roles in popular TV shows such as Raised by Wolves, Upstart Crow, The Archers, Holby City, The Last Kingdom, Genius, and Inside No. 9. Monks has also made a name for herself as a poet and co-founded the touring theatre company LUNG Theatre in 2012. In 2015, she placed third in the Funny Women Awards.
