Helen Stenborg Biography
Helen Stenborg (January 24, 1925 – March 22, 2011) was an American actress known for her work on stage, screen, and television. She appeared in revivals of A Doll's House, A Month in the Country, and The Crucible, as well as the original production of Noël Coward's Waiting in the Wings, for which she received a Tony Award nomination. Stenborg also won an Obie Award for her performance in Talley & Son, a play by Lanford Wilson. On television, she portrayed Helga Lindeman on the soap opera Another World from 1977 to 1978. Stenborg had a supporting role in the Academy Award-winning short film My Mother Dreams the Satan's Disciples in New York (1999). She passed away on March 22, 2011, at the age of 86 in New York City.
