Helena Blackman

Helena Blackman (born 10 December 1982) is a British musical theatre actress. She gained recognition as the runner-up in the BBC1 reality TV programme How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?. Blackman trained at the Guildford School of Acting. Notable stage appearances include portraying Gypsy Rose Lee in Gypsy at the Wales Millennium Centre and playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the Haymarket Theatre in Leicester. Additionally, she has showcased her talents as a cabaret performer at corporate events and has been featured as a soloist in various shows, including The Night of a Thousand Voices at the Royal Albert Hall. Blackman has also made appearances on BBC Radio 2's long-running programme Friday Night is Music Night.
