    Henrik Lundqvist Biography
    Henrik Lundqvist (born 2 March 1982) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played his entire 15-season career with the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Lundqvist was nominated for the Vezina Trophy in each of his first three NHL seasons and won the award in 2012. He holds the record for most wins by a European-born goaltender in the NHL and is the only goaltender in history to record eleven 30-win seasons in his first twelve seasons. Lundqvist's impressive rookie season earned him the nickname 'King Henrik' from the New York media and Rangers fans. He also led the Swedish men's team to an Olympic gold medal in the 2006 Winter Olympics.
