Henry Paulson Biography
Henry Paulson, also known as Hank Paulson, is an American banker and financier. He was born on March 28, 1946, in Palm Beach, Florida. Paulson served as the 74th United States Secretary of the Treasury from 2006 to 2009 under President George W. Bush. Prior to his government role, he was the Chairman and CEO of the investment bank Goldman Sachs. After leaving office, Paulson founded the Paulson Institute in 2011, which focuses on promoting sustainable economic growth and environmental conservation, particularly in the United States and China. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Paulson Institute and as the Executive Chairman of the global fund TPG Rise Climate.
