Herman Sinitzyn

Herman Sinitzyn (Герман Синицын; 1 February 1940 – 25 June 2016) was a Russian-American actor. Born in Chișinău, he later moved with his family to Leningrad where he served in the army and studied at Leningrad State University. Initially working as a translator, Sinitzyn began his acting career during his time in the military. After immigrating to the United States, he continued working as a translator and made his film debut in 'The Hunt for Red October' as Seaman #5. He appeared in various television shows including 'ER', 'Team Knight Rider', and 'Alias'. Sinitzyn was divorced and had a daughter.
