Hermione Gulliford

Hermione Valentine Gulliford is an English actress born in Somerset. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 1994. Gulliford has an extensive theatre background, having appeared in various productions including The Merchant of Venice, Othello, and A Midsummer Night's Dream with the Royal Shakespeare Company. She also portrayed Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare's Globe in London in 2019. In television, Gulliford has made appearances in The IT Crowd, Oktober, Jane Eyre, Monarch of the Glen, Heartbeat, and had a recurring role in the final series of Foyle's War. Notably, she portrayed neurosurgeon Roxanna MacMillan in Holby City, initially from April 2, 2013, to April 26, and then as a regular character from October 2017 to September 25, 2018.
