Herschel Sparber Biography
Herschel Sparber (born October 18, 1943) is an American actor and Broadway performer. Known for his unusually tall stature of 6 feet, 9 inches, Sparber was born in Gary, Indiana. He has had a diverse acting career, with notable roles including Big Jule in the Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls alongside Nathan Lane and Faith Prince. Sparber also portrayed Jaresh-Inyo, the President of the United Federation of Planets, in two episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He has appeared in various TV shows, including a recurring character on Boy Meets World and a multi-episode role in NYPD Blue. Additionally, Sparber has lent his voice to video game characters and cartoons, and provided dub-over work for the film Serenity (2005).
