Hetty Baynes Biography
Hetty Baynes is an English actress known for her work in film, television, and theatre. Born on August 16, 1956, Baynes began her career in ballet, training at the Royal Ballet School from the age of 10. She made her professional debut at age 12 in Rudolf Nureyev's The Nutcracker and went on to perform in The Sleeping Beauty at the Royal Opera House. Transitioning from dance to acting in her mid-teens, Baynes started her acting career at 17 as an acting ASM in repertory theatre. She was married to film director Ken Russell from 1992 to 1999 and they have one son together. Baynes also holds a Creative Writing MA from Birkbeck College London University.
