Hilaria Baldwin

Hilaria Baldwin, born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas on January 6, 1984, is an American yoga instructor, entrepreneur, podcaster, and author. She co-founded the New York-based yoga studios called Yoga Vida and has released an exercise DVD and a wellness-focused book. Hilaria Baldwin is married to actor Alec Baldwin since 2012. While she is from the United States, Baldwin has faced controversy for representing herself as being from Spain, leading to accusations of cultural appropriation or an 'identity hoax.' She was born in Boston, Massachusetts and comes from a diverse heritage including English, French-Canadian, German, Irish, and Slovak descent. Baldwin claims to have been raised in a Spanish-speaking household and has been a vegetarian since the age of five.
