Hilarie Ros Burton, also known as Hilarie Burton Morgan, is an American actress born on July 1, 1982. She gained recognition as the host of MTV's Total Request Live and later portrayed Peyton Sawyer on The WB/The CW drama One Tree Hill for six seasons from 2003 to 2009. After her time on One Tree Hill, Burton appeared in films such as Our Very Own, Solstice, and The List. She also had supporting or recurring roles in television series, including White Collar, Grey's Anatomy, Forever, and Lethal Weapon. Currently, Burton co-hosts the Drama Queens podcast with her former One Tree Hill co-stars, Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Lenz. Born and raised in Sterling, Virginia, Burton is the eldest of four children and has a background in military and real estate in her family.
