Hillary Scott-Tyrrell, born on April 1, 1986, is an American singer and songwriter. She gained fame as the co-lead vocalist of the country music group Lady A and is currently signed to Big Machine Records. In addition to her work with Lady A, Scott released a gospel album titled Love Remains in 2016, which reached number 7 on the Billboard 200 chart. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, to country music artist Linda Davis and musician Lang Scott, Hillary Scott comes from a musical background. She was homeschooled during kindergarten and attended Donelson Christian Academy for elementary and high school. With a passion for country music, Scott decided at the age of 14 to pursue a career as a country singer.
