    Hiromi Tsuru was a Japanese actress, voice actress, and narrator. She was born in Chitose, Hokkaido and began her acting career at a young age, joining the Himawari Theatre Group. Tsuru became well-known for her iconic role as Bulma in the popular anime series Dragon Ball, a role she voiced for over 31 years. She also lent her voice to several other notable characters, including Ukyo Kuonji in Ranma ½, Dokin-chan in Soreike! Anpanman, and Madoka Ayukawa in Kimagure Orange Road. Tsuru was affiliated with Aoni Production at the time of her death and left a lasting impact on the world of Japanese voice acting.
