Honey Mahogany (born December 30, 1983) is an American activist, politician, drag performer, and singer. She gained national recognition as a contestant on the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race and later released her debut EP, Honey Love. Mahogany played a crucial role in establishing The Transgender District in San Francisco and served as its first director. She began her drag career during her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California and later pursued a Master of Social Work at the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Mahogany co-founded Berkeley's Next Top Drag Performer in 2008, an annual drag competition. Mahogany's chosen stage name was inspired by the two closest shades of Revlon makeup to her skin tone.
