Howie Dorough

Howie Dorough, born Howard Dwaine Dorough on August 22, 1973, is an American singer and actor. He gained fame as a member of the popular pop vocal group Backstreet Boys. Dorough was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, where he met his bandmate A.J. McLean at a Latin carnival in 1989. His mother, Paula Flores-Dorough, is Puerto Rican, while his father, Hoke Dwaine Dorough, has Irish American heritage. With a love for entertainment from a young age, Dorough began performing at a young age, singing in the church choir and taking on acting roles in musical productions. He continues to be an active member of the music industry and has appeared in various TV shows and movies.
