Hrant Alianak (born 1950), also known as Harant Alianak or Grant Aljanak, is a Sudanese-Armenian-Canadian actor and playwright. Born in Khartoum, Sudan to an Armenian family, Alianak moved to Canada at the age of 17. He studied business administration in Montreal, Quebec, but started writing plays in 1972. In the 1980s, he transitioned into acting. He was nominated for the Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in 1988 for his work in the film Family Viewing. Alianak has appeared in various movies, including Billy Madison (1995) and Pontypool (2009), as well as TV shows like Goosebumps (1996). He has also written plays such as Lucky Strike, The Walls of Africa, and The Blues.
