Hubert Keller

Hubert Keller is a renowned French chef, best known for his signature restaurants, Fleur de Lys in San Francisco and Las Vegas. Born in Alsace, France, Keller graduated from the École Hoteliere in Strasbourg and began his career as a pastry chef. He honed his skills at esteemed restaurants like Auberge de L'Ill, Mermoz, Domaine de Chateauneuf, and Moulin de Mougins in France, as well as La Cuisine du Soleil in São Paulo, Brazil. Under the guidance of culinary legends Paul Haeberlin, Paul Bocuse, and Roger Vergé, Keller gained invaluable experience. In 1982, he ventured to San Francisco to revive Sutter 500 and later became co-owner and executive chef of the original Fleur de Lys. Keller expanded his culinary empire, opening a gourmet Burger Bar in Las Vegas and a second Fleur de Lys at Mandalay Bay. He also established the French-influenced steakhouse, SLEEK, in Downtown St. Louis.
