Hugh Laurie

Hugh Laurie is an English actor, comedian, writer, and musician. He gained recognition as one half of the comedy double act Fry and Laurie with Stephen Fry. They appeared together in projects like A Bit of Fry & Laurie and Jeeves and Wooster. Laurie also acted in the period comedy Blackadder. He played different characters in Blackadder II before joining the main cast in Blackadder the Third. Laurie is best known for his role as Dr. Gregory House on the medical drama series House, which aired from 2004 to 2012. He received two Golden Globe Awards for his performance on the show.
