Hunter Easton Hayes (born September 9, 1991) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He gained fame for his proficiency in playing over 30 instruments. In 2011, Hayes released his self-titled debut album which reached number seven on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Top Country Albums chart, selling over 1.1 million copies. The album's hit single, 'Wanted,' sold over 3.5 million copies, making Hayes the youngest male act to top the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Known for his songwriting and instrumental skills, Hayes has been recognized as a leader of 'Country Music's Youth Revolution' by Billboard in 2014. He has received multiple Grammy and CMA Award nominations and has won three BMI Awards.
