Hunter Parrish Biography
Hunter Parrish Tharp (born May 13, 1987) is an American actor and singer. He rose to fame for his role as Silas Botwin in the Showtime series Weeds, which ran from 2005 to 2012. Parrish made his Broadway debut in the musical Spring Awakening, where he played the character Melchior. He also performed in the Broadway production of Godspell, portraying the role of Jesus. Prior to his success on television and stage, Parrish appeared in the film Sleepover and guest-starred in various TV shows. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Parrish graduated from Plano Senior High School and Texas Tech University Independent School District.
