Hunter Schafer

Hunter Schafer is an American model, actress, and LGBTQ rights activist. She was born on December 31, 1998, in Trenton, New Jersey. Schafer made her acting debut as Jules Vaughn, a transgender high school student, in the HBO teen drama series Euphoria (2019–present). Her performance in the show earned her nominations for a Shorty Award, an MTV Movie & TV Award, and a Dorian Award. Schafer gained recognition for her activism against North Carolina's anti-LGBT legislation HB2, which led to her inclusion on Teen Vogue's '21 Under 21' list in 2017. She comes from a family with a Presbyterian minister father and has three younger siblings.
