Hunter von Leer

Hunter von Leer (born April 3, 1944) is an American former actor known for his appearances in films, television series, and television movies. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, and graduated from Indiana State University in 1968. Von Leer initially pursued acting as a stunt man and taught high school in California while trying to break into the industry. His last credited role was in the 2003 TV movie Book of Days. Von Leer's acting career came to an end due to undisclosed medical reasons. He then returned to his home state of Indiana, where he became a cattle farmer in Lawrence County. Von Leer is married to Fariba, who runs a large insurance agency in California.
