Huw Higginson is an English actor, born on February 21, 1964. He gained recognition for his role as PC George Garfield in the popular TV series, The Bill, which he portrayed from 1989 to 1999. Higginson has appeared in various other notable television shows, including Heartbeat, EastEnders, Casualty, By Any Means, and Jessica. In The Sarah Jane Adventures, he played the character of Mr Cunningham in two stories. After moving to Australia in 2014, Higginson continued his acting career there, featuring in several Australian TV shows, such as Deadline Gallipoli, Rake, Janet King, Secret City, and A Place to Call Home. He has also made appearances on stage in Australia, including Love Letters, The House on the Lake, and The Kitchen Sink.
