Hweiling Ow

Hweiling Ow is a Malaysian-born New Zealand film and television producer, director, and actor. In her early years, she migrated to New Zealand and began her acting career in her twenties. Hweiling has made appearances on popular New Zealand television shows such as Shortland Street and Mean Mums. Additionally, she has showcased her talents behind the scenes as a producer and director for projects such as AFK, a web series set within an online roleplaying game, and Ao-Terror-Oa. In recognition of her work, Hweiling Ow received the Woman to Watch Award at the Women in Film and Television New Zealand Awards in 2020.
