Ian Gelder Biography
Ian Gelder is a British actor known for his extensive stage and screen career. Born on June 3, 1949, Gelder has appeared in various TV shows and movies, including notable roles such as Mr Dekker in Torchwood: Children of Earth and Kevan Lannister in Game of Thrones. He has also showcased his talent on stage, performing in productions like The Low Road in 2013 and Lucy Bailey's revival of Titus Andronicus at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Gelder made appearances in Torchwood: Children of Earth in 2009 and Game of Thrones in 2011, returning to the latter series in Season 5 and Season 6 as Kevan Lannister. He has guest-starred in 12 episodes of Game of Thrones and also had a role as Librarian Scholar Charles in the BBC TV series in 2019.
